Last weekend, we visited Flat Rock, in southwest North Carolina. The leaves were just beginning to turn. Photo #1 shows the path to the top of Glassy Mt., in the Carl Sandburg National Park. #2 shows a view of Sandburg's house from across the pond. #3 shows the creek just a few feet from our airbnb. #4 is a patriotic birdbath. #5 is a scarecrow located on the goat farm in the national park. And #6 is Mary Anna sketching the goats. It was taken with a flash, by the way. You probably can't tell it, which is the point. All photos taken October 25-26, 2019.
