Posadas constitute an important part of Mexican Christmas celebrations. The word posada means "inn" or "shelter" in Spanish. The traditional ceremony re-enacts Mary and Joseph's search for a place to stay in Bethlehem. Each year, Pilgrim United Church of Christ marks the Christmas season by presenting a children's posada. These photos were taken December 13, 2015. As will be noted in the slide show, my friend John Yoon took several of the photos.
