Locals pronounce the name as "body," perhaps a reference to all the bodies that used to wash ashore from shipwrecks off the coast of the outer banks. (Not really; the land was originally owned by the Bodie family.) It is located in Nags Head, NC. Photos taken April 3, 2015.
